Colburn Academy is aimed at computer science students who want to become developers or consultants within ServiceNow. We offer a structured trainee program with clear goals, hands-on learning, coaching, and real project experience.

What You Will Learn

  1. The Consultant Role

    Learn what is expected of you as a consultant when working with customers, teams, requirements, communication, and delivery.

  2. ServiceNow Fundamentals

    Build a solid understanding of the ServiceNow platform, common workflows, configuration, and how scoped applications are structured.

  3. Scoped Application Development

    Learn how to build applications on the Now Platform, including data models, business logic, automation, and maintainable solution design.

  4. Scripting & Web Technologies

    Develop practical skills in JavaScript for both client and server, along with HTML, CSS, and frameworks such as Bootstrap.

  5. APIs & Integrations

    Understand how systems communicate and how integrations can connect ServiceNow with other tools and data sources.

The trainee journey

A Six-Month Path With Weekly Coaching

Throughout the full six-month period, which serves as a probationary employment, each trainee follows an individual plan and has weekly check-ins with a coach. Together, you review whether the goals for the week’s exercises have been met and set new objectives for the week ahead.
